Terms of Use

Last updated: 3 September 2026

1. Acceptance and Eligibility

By using Weaver you confirm that you are at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to data processing) and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. If you use Weaver on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

2. Nature of the Service

Weaver is an AI-assisted tool for capturing and organising meeting content. It extracts participants, decisions and action items from transcripts, files and recorded calls, and answers questions across that material.

Weaver's output is a summarisation aid, not professional advice. Users should not treat its output as legal, financial or other expert guidance without their own independent review.

3. Recording and Consent

When Weaver connects to live Zoom, Teams or Google Meet calls, a bot joins visibly. Users bear sole responsibility for ensuring recordings comply with applicable law and that all necessary notices or permissions have been obtained from participants.

The same obligation applies to uploaded transcripts and files. Users confirm they possess rights to submit such content to Weaver.

4. Data Handling and AI Model Training

Your content is routed through Google's Gemini API to transcribe speech, extract structure and generate answers. Google's API terms prohibit using API inputs to train their models. Your inputs and the generated responses are not used to train foundation models.

Structured summaries and embeddings are stored internally to enable cross-meeting search. Users may delete meetings, projects, or their entire account at any time (see section 8).

5. Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

User content. Users retain complete ownership of submitted transcripts, files, recordings and text. Weaver receives only the licence necessary to process and store materials for service delivery.

Generated output. Users receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, share, copy and modify the summaries, answers and extracted items Weaver generates.

6. Acceptable Use

Users may not use Weaver to:

  • Record or process meetings lacking proper recording rights, or submit content they don't own.
  • Generate or store unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory or privacy-invasive material.
  • Reverse-engineer, exploit, or manipulate AI infrastructure safety systems through prompt injection.
  • Automate extraction, scraping or high-volume requests that create unreasonable infrastructure strain (published rate limits apply).

7. Limitation of Liability and "As-Is" Warranty

Weaver is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. AI systems may produce factually incorrect content, overlook information, or misattribute speakers. Extracted decisions, action items and answers lack guaranteed accuracy or completeness and cannot replace original records.

The developers, partners and affiliates disclaim liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from reliance on AI-generated content, service interruptions, failed recordings, or use of the Service.

8. Account Termination and Deletion

By us. Weaver may suspend, restrict or terminate access without prior notice if an account violates the Acceptable Use policy above or poses a security threat.

By you. You can permanently delete your account at any time, entirely yourself, from account settings in the mobile app or on the web, with no need to contact support. Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone: it permanently erases your profile and credentials, and every meeting, transcript, decision, action item and embedding tied to your account. There is no waiting period and no shadow copy is kept after deletion.

Billing records that Stripe retains for financial-regulation purposes are unaffected by account deletion and contain no meeting content. Full detail on what's retained and for how long is in the Privacy Policy.

9. Changes to These Terms

Weaver may modify these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
